Judy's Story
Rev. Judy Stevenson is an ordained elder in The United Methodist Church. As clergy she has served as Lead Pastor in two churches, Associate Pastor of Family and Youth Ministry, and now serves as Leadership Strategist for a regional area in middle Tennessee for The UMC.
In her current appointment, Judy leads church-wide visioning for missional alignment, develops clergy and laity leadership, teaches discipleship, and encourages, equips, and resources clergy for effective ministry in 100+ churches as needed.
Judy is married to Rev. Lee Stevenson, Lead Pastor at Columbia First United Methodist Church. Lee has served multiple churches for 20 years, making Judy a pastor’s spouse for most of their 23 year marriage. Lee and Judy have 3 young adult children and a beloved boxer dog named Scout. Lee and Judy have led marriage retreats and Judy has led women’s retreats. She often finds herself in one on one mentoring relationships with women, offering encouragement, a listening ear, friendship, prayer, and guided spiritual conversations pointing toward Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, and the One who Heals, Forgives, and Restores.
Judy is available to support female clergy, female church staff / ministry leaders, and wives of male clergy / ministry leaders.
