Have you ever really thought about the commandment to pray without ceasing? What is that supposed to look like for believers? Recently, I had a conversation with a friend where I expressed that I haven’t been feeling like my life has much purpose any longer. Yes, I was throwing myself a little pity party. He took out a pen and paper and wrote down the name of his daughter and son-in-law and said to me, “Here is your purpose. Would you please pray for them?”
Over the next few days, as I began to pray for them, the Lord started bringing to my attention many more people who I could pray for. As of the writing of this newsletter, I have 102 people that I pray for everyday. I feel so blessed that God has given me this new ministry along with FishBowl ministries. I don’t pray every minute of every day, but I am living with a spirit of prayerfulness, as I bring these 102 people before the Lord daily. And so I encourage you to ask the Lord who in your life needs prayer, and then watch what He does. Thank you for keeping me and Fishbowl ministries in your prayers. I am thankful for your support.
Grace and Peace,
Lyle
